1 strawberry
10 mL DNA extraction buffer
Coffee filter
1 Large test tube
Inoculating loop
20 mL Cold Isopropyl alcohol
Paper towels
Procedure
Place strawberry in Zip lock bag
Smash strawberry using fingers and fist (2 minutes minimum)
Add 10 mL extraction buffer
Mush strawberry in bag for 1 minute
Assemble filtration apparatus
Pour strawberry slush into filtration allowing to drip in test tube
Slowly pour cold alcohol into tube
Dip inoculating loop into tube of strawberry extract, and alcohol come in contact
