Easter of 1935 turned out to be one of the turning points in Moon's life. That day as he was praying in the mountains when he claims Jesus Christ visited him. Jesus told him that he was to continue the work that Jesus was unable to finish during His ministry on this earth. At first Moon denied his calling but later accepted the fact that he had to help the human race. He began to study and wrote the Divine Principle, his church's religious writing, which will be explained later in this essay.
