Destroying half of the city, and taking 200,000 people's lives, due to radiation poisoning and injuries caused by this deadly atomic bomb.
After the second blast, Emperor Hirohito finally realized that his innocent people were getting hurt. He decided very quickly to end this war and surrender to the Americans. He told his leaders to "draw up the papers, to end the war"...
