During Second Intermediate Period the Nubian’s separated and the Egyptian’s were attacked. This land being so remote and well guarded was finally attacked by the Hyskos. The Hyskos using new weapons unseen to Egypt were able to conquer them and rule them for a 100 years. They brought weapons like horses with chariots and body armor. Egypt getting tired of being ruled by other’s decided to become more militant and fought back by using the same weapons that were used on them. This conflict brought on the New Kingdom 1570-1085.
