Macbeth removes anything that cannot benefit him in any way, and instead, changes it to fit his liking. By doing this, it shows how some people are so selfish, that they think only about themselves, and do not bother to think about how their actions may affect the people around them. Macbeth goes from honorable, trustworthy, and kind, to someone that does not care about the people around him, but only about himself...
