Damn I can’t believe this You couldn’t even step to me But yet you could do this to me How could this be That you could lie to me Say that you still feel me But you kill me Not physically but emotionally Where I take longer to heal And to you it may not be a big deal But how I feel is real And I hurt Because you wouldn’t let us work Did I deserve this This can’t be the end When I thought we’d just begun And I see that I’ve won Nothing For I am as empty as when I started Except I am dealing with these feelings Of hurt and of pain And it is all a shame For lack of a better name This game That we play In which I love you more everyday And even though I say I’m ok We both know Because it does show Brighter than a glow In ratio with my love And everlasting affection For you will always be in my heart As you were from the start And maybe we will start Over and try again And I let you in to win My love for now For then For always Unconditional I desire to be happy I long to be satisfied Yet nothing but you Seems to make up for the nights I cried Myself to sleep When I couldn’t eat And no song or beat Could make me smile Yet all the while I feel as a child Lost in the grocery store Not knowing in which door For his mother, he looks for I laugh, I cry I hurt, and I try I need you here I need you near Where I can feel your lips Hold your hips For when I am with you my heart skips A beat, no two And I now know not what to do To be with you I see you hurt and I wonder why I make you cry And I want only To be lonely With you by me Where we can be happy For now and eternity You struggle and you hurt You’re stressed from this mess And you know it’s a test You want to be freed From what you believe Is false but appears true And you know not what to do She is everything to you But she puts you through That for which you feel no need To conceive Unwanted emotions You search for potions To protect your heart And you knew from the start That this would be apart Of that which you hold close Her, which you love most She doesn’t understand The situation at hand And you try to explain But it won’t leave your brain And though it’s more than a game You can’t seem to claim That which is your prize As you look into her eyes You see that she cries You see that she tries To make things right Yet it’s out of sight And long into the night Which covers her We look forward into the future We see sunshine and happiness Yet we must look past this This time of darkness and trial In which all things have been defiled And we hope for peace and understanding In the time that is remaining And we cry But we still try To make things right So we can be Happy And carefree We love one another Like that of no other Love is patient and holds no grudges And endures forever
