Frankenstein freaked me out because I believed that out of no where he was going to appear behind me and try to kill me or do some kind of abuse towards me.
Before reading the introduction I kind of had an idea of what it was going to be about, but I never thought that Mary Shelley had an actual vision or dream of Frankenstein, even before writing the story. It seems that it was meant to be a story about a monstrous creature seeking revenge by killing people, that just looking at him they are horrified.
Many believed and including myself, that Frankenstein had no reason for killing people. He just killed for no self benefit and no purpose...
