Essay text:
Abigail, who worked as a servant for John and
Elizabeth Proctor, had an affair with John. Throughout the play, Abigail tried to get John
to leave town with her, but John could not. This showed evil inside of Abigail because
she just cared for herself and not others. Even when Elizabeth found out about the affair,
she lies to the courtroom to try and save John. This shows evil for lying, but good
because she really loved about John.
Throughout the play, many personalities between Abigail and Elizabeth shows.
These two show completely different personalities in the play. While Abigail can not
seem to stop lying, Elizabeth can not lie to save her life...
