These characters are Hermia, Lysander, Helena, and Demetris. At the beginning of the book all of the characters were confused in who they loved and everyone loved the wrong person. By the end of the book, with the help of Puck everyone was able to realize who they were supposed to be with and it was a very happy ending. This is a contrast to Romeo and Juliet.
Romeo and Juliet’s story started out with a doomed to fail sense of thought. Belonging to two different families in the middle of a feud they were never supposed to be together. They got married but right after Romeo had to leave town. Juliet hatched a plan and pretended to be dead, but Romeo, not knowing of her plans thought she was dead and killed himself...
