Oedipus told he was going to kill his father and sleep with his mother which eventually happened, but he carried it with him through out the entire story. Willie had no money coming in, his boys were failures, and he hallucinated. At the end he was in a car crah because he was hallucinating. This was right after he found out about his boys who earlier told him that they failed again, and now no money was going to be coming from that scenerio either. Both characters carried a burden with them throughout the stories, and they eventually came to an end because of it. Willie would hallucinate because of his money problems, while Oedipus was doomed form the beginning...
