Once entering the scene, Macbeth, does not speak much but only because of his mental state. Macbeth normally would not be the type of individual to commit evils crimes, let alone kill someone. So now once so close to committing the murder that will obtain him the power he desires, he seems to almost be in a daze.
Following this scene, Macbeth against all doubts is convinced to kill Duncan in order to obtain his crown of king. They plan to frame the murder on two chamberlains. Macbeth then kills Duncan as well as the chamberlains out of rage for their crime. He soon becomes fearful of someone finding out about what he has done, so he once again plans to kill someone else...
