At the time of Revolution, the founding fathers were not able to include in the Constitution that the slaves were considered equals because the economy depended on slavery. Without slavery, the economy would fail and it would’ve caused damages to the country and thus preventing the Revolution to occur. Slavery was considered unconstitutional by the fathers but they were not able to express this thought because the economy prevented them.
